Haste makes waist!

Sooooo~ Clothes around my middle are starting to feel and look looser!!!!!

So I put my belly to the test and tried on some shorts Wednesday at Charlotte Russe.
When I started I was a size 13....which has now gone to 11!!!
Wooo! Slow and steady! Even so, it is still happening! I'm psyched! Not gonna quit at this point!

Today every radio station is giving away Gaga tickets. Oh my lord. One station at 11:30 and one at 12. For the first one it was absolutely no hope whatsoever.
But for the second...I was number 6! The winner was number 9...
I WAS SO CLOSE UGH. It was crazy! I'm so sad that I didn't make it, but the fact that I was that close to it is amazing. It was busy FOREVER. But I kept on trucking. Ahhhhhhh

The fact that I could have won an iPad as well is crazy. I would have just sold it, because I don't really want an iPad...but damn. SO CLOSE.



I'm debating with myself to whether i want floor tickets or seats. Since the people who get the packages get first dibs on close standing....I don't even know if it will even be worth getting the floor tickets. What to doooooo?

Today I'm heading to visit my Dad! Probably going to have a cheat day~ but hey, it's vacation-y time~!
I'm going to try to keep walking, maybe walk my mom's dog tonight to get my walk in!
I'm going to try again at 4:30 and 5 to win tickets again. I'm sure there will be ticket giveaways for a while. The concert's not til next year. I'm guaranteed to see the woman next year regardless...so I'm okay~

Bah

Job hunting didn't happen yesterday :( Gah.

Getting ready to head out to work here soon in a minute. Home alone most of the day and lonely :(
It's dark and dreary outside and I haven't hand much energy but I've been practicing dancing a bit so burning some random calories and not eating crazy so it's been a good day thus far! Not excited about working tonight, but hey, gotta make that money. My paycheck was horrid last time and I only work 2 days this week. But because of class and such I don't have the time to go job hunting.

I actually need to focus on some homework when I get back tonight. I have not been in the mood to get anything knocked out.

Last Sunday we did end up going to Disney World and of course I was well prepared with my minnie clip on ears!


We walked to and from the Hollywood Studios park from Disney's Boardwalk Resort (about 15 to 20 minutes each way) also walking around the park, and making good food choices during the day seemed to keep me on track! Yay!

Because of lack of money and such i will not be purchasing the Orlando Monster Ball Tickets at all. It would be nice to sell Miami tickets and get better ones for the one that's practically in my backyard. :/
Ah well. Either way, I get to see Mama Monster regardless.
I'm so looking forward to this day that it doesn't even feel like it is extremely far away!
Seven months away!
But that does provide me with a lot of time to lose and maintain my weight!!! C'mon body! Let's get ready for this! I wanna dress UPPPPPPP.
Super excited, whether I have to travel 3 hours to see her or not.

Ballin'



So just a couple of days ago Gaga announced more Florida dates!
I already have tickets to see her in Miami, but she just announced that she's doing a date at the Amway Arena in Orlando where I live.
But get this, it's the DAY AFTER my birthday. Soooooooo~ my plan is to purchase tickets for Orlando, if I can get better seats than I have for Miami, I may sell my Miami tickets, OR just go to both shows haha. I want this to happen haha. But of course there's always money to think of. Ugh money.
Either way I know I'm going to be seeing Mama Monster next year, and April is when I'm supposed to be reaching my goal weight! Gogogogo!!

Speaking of money, today I will be job hunting! Because of various reasons with LC hours, and things I need a second job, and if possible, maybe just switch jobs.

A restaurant job would be good and bad

Good: Tips = lotsa cash (hopefully)
Bad: Surrounded by food that's bad for me so I really have to flex that healthy choices muscle :(

My work pants keep feeling looser and looser! YES!
Might be time to buy a new pair soon!!! When I bought those pants they were such a big size I was mortified. The fact that they're starting to loosen is really a good sign. Like I've said before, noting the fitting of my clothes versus the scale is easier and less stressful for me.


Todays eats have been in line with the calorie counting! Though I don't believe I've consumed enough raw fruits and veggies, though I am on track for the amount. Not exercising today because of my schedule, but will be clubbing tonight. Alcohol calories will be accounted for in my daily intake, and I am gonna dance some off!
Haven't been very active today however so not a good day. Feeling sluggish. HOPEFULLY going to Disney tomorrow and all that walking will be good! And Disney has some pretty good healthy options as far as eats. Might still bring some snacks that will keep me in the zone!

Not in the mood to do homework but it must be done, ugh.
Alright, going to go ahead and focus my time on that.

Fat-tastrophy

Soooooo, been eating well these days! Gotta get back up on the exercise horse, but that means really motivating Acey to join me!

So in attempt to whip us into gear I shall post the ever embarassing fatty pictures to motivate me to get on it!

V-V-V-V-V-V-V-V-V-VANITY

First of all! This song is in my head:


So when number 4 and then number 5 of the people that had mentioned I looked a tiny bit thinner, I know I'm on the right track.

Today I had to walk to work, which is no biggie at all! I brought 2 pound weights to hold as I trucked myself to work. Total of 30 minutes of walking to work. Fine by me!
I'd really love to walk everyday, as I've heard of how much of a great losing strategy that is.

I've been snacking all day on all of the healthy stuff. Smaller meals, and snacks more often. Today's included grapes for one snack, and pita with hummus for another. I can get used to this!

I really hear all the problems with getting into eating healthy people get, but I'm doing alright with it I think. Going to restaurants is quite awful sometimes, but I shouldn't be doing that very often because of saving money either way. Sometimes the good stuff for you actually looks good :)

Ugh. Hungry, time for dinner!

Surprises!

So recently I've had 3 different people tell me I look like I've lost!!!
Not exactly sure if I really have, but such an incredible feeling to say the least. I think another factor in it is the fact that I've darkened my hair. I think the darker hair slimmed down the look of my face. Either way, looking slimmer is a-okay with me!

I haven't stepped on a scale since I went to Publix forever ago, and don't want to. I want to wait until I see a considerable difference. I've made a pact with myself to stay away from becoming obsessed with numbers, and just stay obsessed with health!

Ugh gotta start cleaning the house soon. Not looking forward to it. I'd rather sit on the computer and look at stuff.


Ugh. Ok. Gotta get motivated to get started. Peace out!

BORN THIS WAY BABYYYYYY

Woo! Haven't updated in forever! I'm keeping at it, though not quite as strictly as in the begining. I'm slacking a bit and need to get back into the motions! Today was a very good epic day for dieting!

Breakfast:
Einstein Bros Bagel Yogurt Parfait - 190
Small Coffee - 0

Lunch:
Lean Gourmet Chicken & Rice - 300
Iced Tea - 0

Dinner:
Moe's Streaker Homewrecker - 435
Buffalo Sauce - 20
Iced Tea - 0

So a grand total of 945 for the day.
And I burned around 2000 calories throughout the day with my usual resting burning rate. I had a lot of homework (and still do) so I didn't get to make time for workout. So it is P90X KENPO DAY!

IN EPIC NEWS. My queen reins over the public.



Her VMA dresses (apart from the meat dress) were distinguished and fancy. So glad we're away from the days of her trucking around with an ugly headband and punky leather jacket that reminded me of punks from high school time.

The only reason I'll ever watch the VMA's.

Anyways, I digress...

Got a new kitten recently <3
Her name is Mimosa.....and she is about as abnoxious as a kitten can get haha.
But she's cute. So I let it slide occaisionally

Well I'm awake now the next day doing homework and bumming around on the internet. I've recently made my decisions to after graduating do some teaching program in Japan for a bit, then move back to the U.S. to a state other than Florida. Means I'll need to get certification in that state (OH BOY) but in all honesty folks. I don't like Florida all that much. With the exception of Disney World and St. Augustine I'm not too fond of the place. But I love my friends and family so of course I would be visiting as much as possible.

One of the stupid reasons is I'd love to have actual seasons. And get to wear cute winter clothing. I have two scarves that I have no need for haha
And a rabbit fur hat that has little purpose in this state.

Slimmin' down!

Gonna get in a quick update before I shower after my workout. Yikes I'm gross!

Just got finished doing the core workout for 10 Pound Slimdown.
Not quite ready to take on P90X Kenpo again today. Might wait till tomorrow because my arms are still feeling the burn.



It's good because it's free! If you have Brighthouse, it's free on demand on Exercise on Demand! Woop woop!

I have refrained from checking my weight because I want to wait a little bit for when I see a tiny bit of visable difference. Tiny being absolutely miniscule, because I know how slowly visual results take. But that way I'm not complaining about the pounds.

On another note. I really miss the origami dress :(



When my arms start looking nice I'd like to make the outfit :B
So many Gaga outfits I really wanna try! That's why this feat must be met!

Hi-Yah!

So just because I haven't been updating as crazily as I used to doesn't mean I haven't been doing well! I did have a cheat day however yesterday when I went to Disney! But hey, gotta have those and keep myself from binging! Went to Raglan Road and had a Portobello Beauty and it was EXCELLENT. Good thing about theme parks is that you walk and sweat all day long so it wasn't like I sat around at home all day! Yesterday was fun but hot, and kind of stressful. Only rode 3 rides all day, but hey, it was ok.

Today I worked this morning and then came home and took a big nap. Afterwards me and Acey did the P90X Kenpo workout and sweat our asses off!



This appears to be a different video, but you get the point. Serious work and tiring too. Eek, but the hard work is worth it!

It's only 10:57 but I'm tired and bored here at home not doing much. It's good that after having an off day I jumped back on the wagon and worked out some and ate well! Woop woop!

Gobble gobble!

Having already incorporated turkey as a staple in my diet, I need not ween myself off the red meat. I've made tacos and enchiladas lighter and fitter for the past few months using ground turkey instead of ground beef and I actually find it tastier! Though now I make mexican less often because of the high amounts of carbs and calories, the occaisional leaner versions of Mexican food find its way into my tummy every week or few.

Last night Ace and I found recipes on Calorie Count. (I am falling more and more in love with this site by the minute)

Not only did it allow us to plan ahead, but it was delicious and easy to make!

I made:

Claire's Chicken Mexicana (184 Calories)

16 ounces chicken breast, fresh, boneless, skinless
8 ounces salsa
8 ounces corn
2 tablespoons pepper, jalapeno, minced

Directions
1.Put the salsa, peppers, and corn in a non stick skillet
2.Bring to a boil
3.Place the chicken breasts on top, spooning a little salsa over
4.Reduce the heat to a slow simmer
5.Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until the chicken is done.
6.Be careful not to scorch the bottom. Add water if needed during cooking.

and...

Mexican Snack Pizzas (68 Calories [but I had two which = 136)

1/4 c. tomato puree
1/4 c. kidney beans (canned), drained and chopped
1 tbsp. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. green pepper, chopped
1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
1/4 c. Mozzarella cheese (part skim milk), shredded
1/4 c. lettuce, shredded

Directions
1.Split muffins; toast lightly.
2.Mix puree, beans, onion, green pepper, and oregano. Spread on muffin halves.
3.Sprinkle with cheese. Broil until cheese is bubbly, about 2 minutes.
4.Garnish with shredded lettuce.

So a grand total of 320 calories for dinner!

School = Work.....Out!

So class provided me with extra workout time and extra calories lost! I ended up reading the chapter I need to have read for tomorrow's class while using the Elliptical machine and burned a total of 404 calories in tonight's workout! Woo! Super proud of myself and exited for the future! I've felt really energized lately because of my diet I think. Putting more good things in my body and intaking less of the bad.

I've avoided alcohol entirely for nearly two weeks, so thus avoiding extra calories. Saturday, however, I will be drinking some wine. Though I will make sure it doesn't exceed my daily calorie intake by cutting down calories in my meals that day. That and making sure I burn a little more than usual exercising, or if I go over, taking accountability for it the following day. Either way I am not binging, but making sure the math in everything comes into place and I avoid putting on extra weight that I have just lost!

At my friend's Cowboy's house currently. Going to be staying here every Thursday evening because of class at 7:30 am Friday. Ugh. Ah well, a challenge in itself to remain eating healthy! But it's fun, and get to play Halo as much as possible Thursday nights <3

The waist sizes are all itty bitty so I'd definitely have to work toward these.

Dancin' in September



I'm starting September off right by dancing! Yesterday me and my roomie worked on learning the dance to Bad Romance some more. Not perfected but pretty close! Me and Ace are going to work out tonight or maybe before work since I don't work til' 5 now. While I'm home alone I'm going to work on learning Telephone again~

Fun way to burn of extra calories. Me and Mikey got sweaty working on Bad Romance yesterday! I already took a shower today too. Oh well. This cheap hair dye I have keeps fading with each wash (it said permanent on the bottle meh)
BUT, since I'm not such a fan with the red I'm kind of glad haha
Planning on getting it somewhere around this color:



Maybe a tad darker in shade, but a light brownish hue to it I think.
Hey I have a pearl headband like that! (Minus the rose)!

I've been experimenting with my hair lately because all I had been doing with my blonde hair was keeping it Early-Gaga looking. Trying different cute braid tricks and fun stuff.

I'm still a fan of hime gyaru style and Liz Lisa


I love fall tones so much~
Another motivation for me is after I trim down and save up some money, go on a shopping spree
